We’ve had a few comments in recent days from people wondering whatever happened to the MEdia Blasters release of Yaji and Kita: The Midnight Ramblers. Voila, an answer.
Apparently there was a technical problem with the disc that got caught late in the game and rather than release something flawed Media Blasters called the disc back to have the problem corrected. The corrected DVD is shipping to stores now, so if you’re one of those anxious souls who pre-ordered and have been left wondering when your copy will arrive, the wait shouldn’t be long now.

this makes my day - been wondering what had happened to it for the last couple of months - as this is easily one of the key japanese films out on DVD this year, and probably the finest choices ive yet to see MB make for recent license acquisitiions… lets hope that lots of people try to see this one. nice.
