Wesley Has Now Officially Given Up.

Wesley being Mr. Snipes, of course, a man once tabbed as the next Denzel Washington. And now he’s not even Isaiah Washington. Why do I say this? Ol’ Wes is starring in a flick titled The Hard Corps in which he will play a boxer who need sto hire himself a bodyguard - which automatically makes you wonder just how good a boxer he is - played by Jean Claude Van Damme who hasn’t had a film make it on to theater screens in, what, a decade now? Everybody together now: Direct To Video. Ah, Wes, how far you’ve fallen ... I guess this is what comes when you earn yourself a widespread reputation for being a prat on set ...

That is not true. Snipes is not in this movie. The director have said that he is not in it.

Either way, who cares about Wesley Snipes? He’s been done since Blade Trinity, thanks to his attitude problems. For one, his last THREE movies have been straight to video. On top of that, they haven’t been good. Van Damme, however, is flourishing in the DTV market, and his movies HAVE been good. He’s even been giving some pretty great performances, which started back with Replicant, continued with In Hell, and peaked in Wake of Death (so far). I always look forward to seeing more JCVD (he even sends up himself in the French film Narco, now on Thai DVD [under a different name] with English subtitles), and he’s carved himself a good niche. It doesn’t matter if he’s on the big screen or not, really. He is, at the very least, trying. The same can’t be said for Steven Seagal or Snipes, for that matter.

I always try to stick up for JCVD, as futile as it is. Sadly, most people that knock him haven’t even seen his latest films. :(

I think also Van Damme is a good actor. Wake Of The Death was very good.

I also agree Van Damme is a very good actor, I wouldn’t say he is the greatest actor of all time. He’s knows this and does not try to be. He makes his movies to entertain people, and that is what they do....... entertain. I feel he made a very good impression in “In Hell” and “Replicant”. Two very good movies. Don’t knock him until you have seen his movies!!!!!!
