   The boxer fella, Steve Fox being Australian and err white..dunno what the deal is with that and Jet. Can’t really imagine a Tekken movie working all that well..a curious pick for the crossover treatment. Cute chick at least.

   Whenever I see or hear Vicky Zhao, I think of So Close. I will prob see this movie if it does actually work out just for the fight scenes… since Vicky was the best part of So Close, I’ll give her the chance to make Tekkin a great movie. Besides her character Ling Xiaoyu was my favorite from Tekkin. So there’s a plus.

   If I recall correctly, Jet Li said he was retiring from making any more Wushu pictures after Fearless.  Which is a pretty minor distinction (sort of) from just a “kung fu” picture, but I do recall reading that quote somewhere.  As for a Tekken movie........well hey, best of luck to them.  And Vicky Zhao is pretty damn cute.

   i think that is just an awesome collaboration. cuteness, prettiness, sexiness of vicki zhao. smartness, cool-ness, tough-ness of Jet Li. arghhhh~! what a perfect match. (not sure whethere all the ‘ness’ makes sense. hahaha)

   It would one of the most awaited movie of all time if this is actually true!!! =)=)

   i cant wait for the real news. i hope this is really really true.. heheheh.

   wow… she’s a great actress so i’m sure she’ll do the character proud.  But really having trouble picturing Jet Li in a Tekken movie.  Ever since Video Games made into Movies it hasn’t been very successful… ie. Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat…

   hopefully CROSSES FINGERS!!!  that this will be good! or at least decent…

    God, she REALLY looks like Ling Xiayou, but she seems a bit serious, whereas Xiayou is very chidish and playful, a bit , ok, a LOT like a five year old.Don’t like the idea of Jet Li being in it, Big star and all but can he actually pull off a boxer? A BRITISH boxer, NOT australian. I really hope a GORGEOUS, GORGEOUS guy will be picked for Hwoarang, as he is HOT HOT HOT!!!!

    Nathan Jones must be playing the role of Craig Marduk, since they’re both Australian and both freaking huge. Jet as a boxer? which boxer would that be? Steve Fox is a Brit… and infact I recall no Asian boxers at all :p but I must say that Vicky is a great choice for Xiaoyu. And one more thing… I wish Jackie Chan can play Lei Wulong.

    I read somewhere that Nathan Jones is playing the role of Craig Marduk..everyone think that jet li going to be steve fox in the movie but he not (I hope)...I don’t know what “Boxer” he going to play...maybe a new character? who knows....I thought the “Boxer” was that “Zheng” guy

    I think it’s safe to say that we may not see all of the Tekken characters in this film.

    And if anything were possible, Uma Thurman would be the best candidate to play Nina merely based on looks. There’s a similarity between Nina and Uma look-wise, and The Bride from Kill Bill is pretty much like an alternate universe Nina.

    TEKKEN MOVIE TO FOLLOW THE STORY FROM TEKKEN 2 GAME.

    If the Tekken movie is going to be made,Charles Stone and the screenwriters should start working on the script and work on the plot from the Tekken 2 game.
    Tekken will centre around Kazuya Mishima as a young man whose been
    trown into a cliff by his Father Heihachi Mishima.
    Now 16 years later Kazuya enters The King Of Iron Fist Tournament known as Tekken and gets revenge against Heihachi,but Jun Kazuma must solve the Devil from Kazuya’s soul and to destroy the evil out of the Devil.
    The movie will have the characters from Tekken 2 to star in the and Crystal Sky better think about this before they start working on the film.

    By no means do not just use the Tekken 2 story and characters.

    I believe These (main) characters should be in it:

    Jinpachi, Heihachi, Kazuya, Jun Kazama, Jin, Asuka, Wang (Jinpachi’s buddy), Xiaoyu (since she’s with Wang or so, and obivuously cares for Heihachi or something).  Yes, that would be kewl for Jackie Chan to play Lei W.

    Julia must be jessika alba beacause they have the same face and body and both eye color chages when they wear glasses.I saw at google images jessica alba with glasses and she looked alike julia so much!

    Hmmm, im very insecure about this. I’d rather want a animated tekken movie, because the characters in the game is already something, or someone… i dont know how to explain. But they lose something.. tekken is animated, then if it will be movie.. it should be animated too. But.. one thing that is interesting, can anyone find someone who could act or be Hwoarang? Tekken wouldnt be Tekken without him, so he’s gotta be in the movie!

    hey i love the idea of a tekken movie the animated cartoon (based on the tekken 2 storyline) wasnt up to so much unfortunately. Great choice in zhao if its true and yeh maybe someone should start a campaign, jackie chan for lei wulong or something…

    I just hope they dont cast a bunch of wack actors who don’t know shit about martial arts, so they get lame ass trainers to train these guys for a few months and then shoot a movie. That’s always a problem with American action/martial arts films. they get people who suck. Also if they start casting people from the wrong race to play as someone of another race (e.g. Memoirs of a Geisha or whatever that movie was w/ Jiang Xiyi), i’ll be pissed. Hollywood has to get there shit together. they’ve been screwing us (the fans) over for long enough (namely Uwe Bolle).
