With its story of a corrupt cop who becomes a vampire whose powers only take affect when he is sexually aroused and who then must bring to justice the very gang that corrupted him in the first place, Vampire Cop Ricky looked to be comic gold on paper, particularly when you throw in a knife wielding, vampire hunting priest. But, as they say in sports, there’s a reason that they play the games. Hard as it is to believe director Lee Shi-Myung and star Kim Soo-Ro have managed to take this fantastic premise and squander almost all of its vast potential.

At the FEFF i left after 20 minutes (mainly because i was tired, cause it was the midnight screening). Looked like a mediocre movie to me. Of course 20 minutes is a little bit short to judge it ..

watched this movie last week. from what i’ve seen, it was the worst Korean film to come out of 2006.
