US Trailer For Brilliant Swedish Vampire Film LET THE RIGHT ONE IN

Very tight on time here - after a five hour delay my flight to Sitges is finally about to board - but before a wing away I’ve just got to take a moment to write about the brand spankin’ new US trailer for Swedish vampire picture Let The Right One In.  This is one of the absolute best films of the year, the fine folks at Magnolia know that full well, and they’ve not just cut a new trailer for the film - they’ve cut a DAMN good one.  This thing catches the tone of the picture beautifully.  Check it out below the break and search the archives for loads of coverage, including the original Swedish trailers and multiple (glowing) reviews.

It’s one of those movies where it will start to grow on you from time to time… I’ve had a pleasure of catching this flick at the fantastic fest in Austin..

THIS BETTER BE PLAYING PHILADELPHIA NEXT MONTH!!!!!

Oh, and totally random side note. I saw a commercial for Midnight Meat Train last night on television. Ummmm. I thought that thing got dumped in like 4 theaters nationwide back in August. What’s up with that? Still no dvd release date?

Toronto Locals: This is the opening film for TORONTO AFTER DARK, Oct. 17th @7pm at the Bloor cinema.  See you there.

I second indiemaker0583’s sentiment regarding Philly!  This had better turn up at the Ritz… maybe a surprise appearance at Exhumed is in order for their 24/7 event?

I can’t wait to see this movie.

indiemaker0583, I am not sure of the release date for Midnight Meat Train, but it’s on fearnet on demand this entire month. I watched it the other night and thought it was much better than how they treated it.

Ah, so I see said the blind man as he picked up the hammer and saw. Dammit. that’s annoying. I saw the commerical at a friends house. I don’t have cable television so I guess I can’t go out and rent it. Loved the short story, dying to know how they pull off the ending.

    Kidlazarus,

I’ll definetly be at the 24/7 horror thon with Exhumed, but they only show the classics. They rarely, rarely get new stuff, unless it’s Bruce Campbell related since it was the folks at Exhumed who at “the Man” come to town with a print of Man with the Screaming Brain.

Yeah, it’s Ritz or bust. But the Ritz got Zombie Strippers, maybe they’ll be able to score this for a one weekend only showing. Otherwise, this def looks like a chinatown bus worthy trip to NYC.

Do we mean Magnet, not Magnolia?

I suppose Magnet’s the correct label, yes, but it’s all the same people.
