You want to see some footage of the Transformer vehicles rolling down the interstate don’t you? Yes you do.

I can’t say much about the quality of the footage because it was caught on a camera phone by a lucky fan passing by a shoot. But, be grateful. Perhaps Par will shut us down and we can get a free trip to the set. Keep your fingers crossed.

Thanks Zoid. The single word Convoy was a little vague. And truckin’ is a little subversive sounding too. tee hee.

Well, after seeing some pics of Optimus and Megatron i have to say Michael Bay is going to destroy what all of the Transformers fans from the early 80’s have come to love. Everyone can’t wait for this movie, it could be HUGE! Instead, it got a bad director that wants to alter the look and feel of the G1 Transformers so much that it will just turn out to be goofy. I am not saying they had to keep it looking exactly the same as the cartoon, but please don’t change it so much that you want to vomit. Optimus’s face is one of a kind and very important. It looks soooo different from the series, it looks BAD!!! Megatron looks horrible! Hey, Mike why not come up with some Transformers that didn’t even exisst. Oh wait, your doing that too. The only way this will be watchable is if Steven has a large hand in it. I was so pumped up to see this, but every pic or video that i see makes me want to scream. The worst part is i know that if they slaughtered the character design this much that they will not keep the original voice actors from the 80’s cartoon. That will be a BIGGER dissapointment than you can imagine. Anybody who doesn’t think so was never a fan growing up in the early 80’s. Out os all the cartoons back then The TRansformers had some of the best voice actors around. They were perfect for each character. The only thing worse than Michael Bay destroying this flick would be if Ang Lee had directed it and had Chow Yun Fat as Optimus Prime and Jake Gyllenhaal as Megatron as lovers in a fight for energon! ARRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I can see where the hardcore fans are coming from, the transformers that is the original transformers were the single best cartoon of the 80’s changing the character features so much takes away from the nostalgia of seeing them on the big screen. But i didnt expect any better from them, this is hollywood they change and exaggerate everything for the almighty dollar. Can anyone say X-Men!
