Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow: Welcome the new kid on the block!

It is with great pleasure that I get to announce the arrival of fine and growing resource for Japanese film enthusiasts to the web community. Everyone, head on over to the Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow and say hello to a friend of ours, Chris MaGee. Getting its start on Facebook Chris’ group has been growing strong and it was only a matter of time before he moved his work and passion to a site proper.

As his site grows you will find current news and happenings in the world of Japanese cinema, a catalog of film reviews that will grow in time [I know he has done more than listed on the site so far], and feature articles including What film got you hooked? where Chris opens the floor to friends and writers to write about the Japanese film that started their crush on Japanese cinema. Todd’s write-up is already on there and I have been asked to submit one as well. And what is also important to Japanese cinema fans here in Toronto is that Chris keeps a schedule of J-Film screenings here in the city.
