Strange Circus
Okay, there’s not so much there yet, but there will be. Oh yes, there will be.
Toronto After Dark is the new genre film festival I’m programming here in Toronto. What can you expect? One big time genre classic complete with special guest, eight new features from around the world, and shorts o’plenty. I’m working hard on the lineup now and while nothing will be firm until the summer I’m very happy about the responses we’ve gotten so far. This is gonna be fun ... head on over to the site and sign up to receive festival updates!

Awesome, guys. Can’t wait for more info - I’m on the mailing list, baby!
I’ll be trying very hard to budget a trip up north for the virgin incarnation…

Now I know where we’ve been getting all this traffic to our mailing list from (32 sign-ups in the first hours)!
Anyway, I’m delighted in everybody at Twitch’s interest. Just to let you know we’ll be sending out updates in the Spring and Summer, with all the big announcements - film line-up, trailers, tickets, on September 29. I wish we had more concrete news for everyone at this point. But as Todd will attest, so many films will only be nailed down in the last few weeks before the festival.
We can’t wait to thrill you all in Toronto this October.
Watch this space!

Good Luck to Todd and Adam. More genre film festivals are always needed in order to get the word out on interesting and innovative world cinema. The fact that this one is in Toronto is just another plus. Word of advice: Keep it as less mainstream as possible. No one in this city gives a shit about big stars after TIFF. Program some subversive sick fuck movies for us too.
