TIFF Report: Borat Cut Short

I know what you’re saying: “But, Peter, you’re stuck in Texas, how could you possibly report on Toronto, hundreds of miles away, where much of the Twitch crew is gathered to watch movies, drink beer, and post reviews (not necessarily in that order)?”

That, my friends, is why the Internet was invented.  Dallas Observer film critic Robert Wilonsky did get to attend the North American Premiere of the hotly-anticipated Borat last night—or at least he tried, and here he relates the experience of a broken projector and a post-midnight wait punctuated by Larry Charles, Michael Moore, and Borat himself.

While waiting for a real review to be posted, you might wish to time trip back one month and read logboy’s comments on the trailer.
