This is why you don’t piss off your employees!

Hey gang. Not really sure if this is front page material; I guess Todd will let me know soon enough and administer the ceremonial spankings if it is not.

I got a link from a friend/reader to a YouTube video diary called EricsVideoBlog. “You gotta see this!” they wrote. At first I thought it was pretty dull. I thought my friend was joking around. Eric moves to L.A. Eric wants to make friends. Eric goes on a couple dates. Then Eric loses his job. Angry Eric then posts video he found in his box when company fired him. I’m still trying to make sense of it myself. Watch the video for yourself and tell me what you think it is. I see a CDC [Center for Disease Control] truck and some tents, a military guy armored to the teeth and then someone in a window getting shot? Am I seeing this correctly? Since he posted the video Eric has been on a tear trying to find out more information about that night, except he cannot find anything. The man’s got a point though. With all this commotion and a shooting why wasn’t this on the news. The customers in my shop love to watch CNN and they’ll cover damn near everything as long as they get to use the words danger and fear. And I didn’t see a lick of news about this either the week this video was shot. I know, weird, but I want to be clear on something. I’m not a big conspiracy theory kind of guy. Perhaps in the 90s during the Chris Carter era maybe I was but if I do or say anything now I usually do it just to stir up the pot a bit, make people think or to get a laugh. But this? You have to wonder. I’ve embedded the footage in question after the break.

    Ah, nevermind. It’s Quarantine, the American remake of REC, that Spanish zombie movie.
    It would’ve been more fun if they’d made it harder to figure out.

    Wow they’ve already started the viral campaign. Guess we’ll see more of these when these studio make horror films. It’s getting old already.

    Have to hand it to the Cloverfield folks, they did a pretty good job, all things considered.  A shot-for-shot remake of REC, hmm, not so interested myself, the original is quite good.

    uh? I hated cloverfield...the characters were annoying and they seemed to bath in monster pheromones, so the monster would follow them everywhere… Had high expecatives for it and didnt like it at all...^^U
    Well, abt REC remake (since that’s the main topic) I dun expect anything at all, I liked the original =p
