The Ugly Duckling and Me, a clip of an upcoming CG Animated Comedy

We all know about the fairy tale about “The Ugly Duckling” by Hans Christian Andersen but in A.Film’s forthcoming animation, “The Ugly Duckling & Me”, there is a different take on the story which explain how the Duck really did overcame his low self esteem problem; a Rat who provide moral support as a surrogate father. At the official A.Film site, there is a few concept art, production stills and a teaser clip. The film is currently in production with a release date plan for this coming fall in Denmark. I dig the character design and I find the idea for the story to be original. This looks like it could be fun movie to watch.

That wee bird is a bit of a steal, isn’t it? Seen “For The Birds” by Pixar?

Look for the TV series “the Ugly Duckling and Me” it gives a good idea of the characters design and the animation style. Quality never seen in TV show (jimmy neutron..)
Do you know “Terkel in Trouble”, Afilm previous CG feature film?
If there is the same humor inside is gonna be great!!
