That whole Alan Partridge and Courtney Love thing.

Going to quickly stick this up here, as a way of asking if this rumour got talked about in the USA. What is it exactly? That Courtney Love had a fling with Steve Coogan (aka Alan Partridge) and she’s having his baby. Strange world isn’t it?! Coogan does have a reputation as a ladies man - and Courtney Love certainly fits that bill, but I can imaging even if Ms.Love was pregnant by Coogan, he probably wouldn’t get much of a mention (if any) as he doesn’t seem to have successfully cracked America.
Yes, this turned up on trusty old Teletext yesterday, and it has been rubished by Love today. Not surprising, as it did seem to originate in the ‘News of the World’: Sunday’s home for popular gossip, naked ladies, things involving drugs and other such tabloid stuff here in the UK. Not that that makes it untrue, but the stories are often surprising - even when confirmed beyond all doubt to be true.

I don’t care for celeb gossip..but it is one of those strange ones eh? Like you have a dream and say “Guess what, I dreamt Courtney love had a fling with Alan Partridge” then all your mates say “Your really messed up y’know”.
The press will do anything they can to knock Courtney Love to the ground. It’s so trite. I’ve alway’s felt quite sorry for her in that repects.

youre right - and this isnt the start of celebrity gossip at twitch. it was one of those strange ones as you say gummo : worth pointing out because in terms of a ‘meeting of minds’ its a oddity.
