Nice. You gotta love this second poster for K-20: Kaijin Nijû Mensô Den, a fitting throwback to all those fantastic collage poster designs like the Bond films- coincidence with the new Bond out?- and other great action films. Everything we’ve seen so far in the trailers has only further proven that. We’re looking forward to it.

A pity we have this small one for now cause there is so much going on in there I would love to see it up close. If somebody out there knows somebody who can get us a higher resolution image of this don’t hesitate to let us know!

Set in an alternate world where ninety percent of Japan’s wealth is controlled by a small sliver of the aristocracy, the Fiend is a sort of Robin Hood figure who steals from the rich. Kaneshiro plays a circus acrobat falsely set up as the Fiend who must escape from jail and track down the real thief to clear his name with the help of a beautiful police detective who is being targeted by the real thief.

The artwork is by Robert McGinnis, who did some of the classic Bond posters.

Actually, there’s already a country like that one in the present: Mexico, but over here it would be more like “drug cartels/politicians/aristocracy”
