Russia Gets BOURNE With Hitman Thriller DOMOVOY

If imitation really is the sincerest form of flattery then everyone involved in the Bourne franchise currently has the warm glow that comes from knowing that they’re loved.  The love is coming from Russia, where the first trailer for new hitman thriller Domovoy has surfaced and there’s more than a little bit of a Greengrass influence apparent.  Central Partnership have their hands in this and they’re normally very reliable when it comes to English language info on their films but nothing on this one has appeared on their site as of yet so all I can really say at this point is that I’m reasonably certain that the female lead from Sword Bearer is in this one as well and she’s still not even remotely ugly.  Nope.

    1. That’s not trailer, that’s just a teaser.
    2. That’s not imitation. The plot is far-far away from Bourne.
    3. The stylistics of shooting is probably taken from Bourne, while the stylistics of Bourne was taken from other movie.
    4. The director plays with color. For example, Domovoy (the killer) and Khabensky’s personage are gray. Khamatova is red (she’s passionate, etc...). The murdered rich woman is yellow/golden. Khabensky’s personage is changing his color during the movie from gray to some color i don’t know yet…

So it’s not just imitation as you wrote. Bourne didn’t have the game with colors, etc…

Didn’t look like the Bourne movies to me, but it did look good.
