‘야수’ (’Running Wild’) Teaser Trailer Released

After announcing Kawai Kenji would work on its soundtrack, Kim Sung-Soo’s ‘야수’ (’Running Wild’) unveiled its teasers: poster and trailer. The film stars Kwon Sang-Woo and Yoo Ji-Tae, two ‘beasts’ (like the Korean title suggests) of their professions. A peculiar distinction is put on their jobs by Korean society, with inspectors often on the receiving hand of a rugged, down to earth and somewhat diminishing look. On the other hand, prosecutors are always hailed as the ‘perfect bachelors,’ so much that comedies about the occupation abound - last in line ‘가문의 위기’ (’Marrying The Mafia 2’) - and it has become the new ‘en vogue’ job to portray for pretty stars with no acting skills on TV. The Teaser Trailer emphasized the interesting dialogue of the film, with one line by Kwon Sang-Woo’s character standing out:

“내가 세상에서 제일 싫어하는 것이 두 개가 있는데, 하나가 바퀴벌레고 또 하나는 양아치거든”
(There’s two things I hate the most in this world. One is bugs, and another is thugs...)

‘Running Wild’ started shooting last April, and has completed about 80% of its shoot. A release is set for December.
