The official website for Robert Krause’s Blood Trails - a.k.a. “Black Mountain” (working title) and “Downward” (working title) - is online, and there’s a downloadable teaser trailer for the movie on that site. Blood Trails is scheduled to have its world première at Dead by Dawn 2006 in Edinburgh, Scotland in April.
The screenplay for Blood Trails was written by Krause and Florian Puchert. The movie stars Rebecca Palmer as Anne, Ben Price as Chris, Tom Frederic as Michael, Benedikt Greiner as the porter, Eva Zwack as the woman in the mini-mart, J.J. Straub as the ranger, Kurt Rauscher as forest worker #1, Johann Daiminger as forest worker #2, and Erhard Hartmann as the cableway clerk.

When bike messenger Anne bumps into Chris on a last-minute delivery route, she ends up in his apartment. Tortured by a vicious hangover and her bad conscience the next morning, she proposes a romantic weekend in their mountain cottage to her boyfriend.
Her plan seems to work, as their amorous getaway starts off harmoniously. But on their first trip out, down the mountain bike trails of a deserted wilderness, Chris suddenly appears. He murders Anne’s boyfriend before her eyes - marking just the beginning of his deadly hunt.
