Richard Gere to Star In Andrew Lau’s English Debut

That would be Andrew Lau the director of Infernal Affairs, not to be confused with Andy Lau the star of Infernal Affairs and about a zillion other films.
Production house Bauer Martinez has ponied up thirty five million dollars for Lau to shoot The Flock, a thriller starring Gere as a federal officer training a young female officer while trying to track down a missing girl.
Now, I’m not really a fan of ol’ squinty eyes - that being Gere, of course - who I generally find as interesting as a stick of wood, but it sounds as though this will be mining territory familiar to Lau who certainly knows how to put together a good cop thriller ... check all the details over at The Hollywood Reporter.
