Promotional Reel For Spanish Blockbuster Thunder Captain

I asked the question when Ridley Scott announced Kingdom of Heaven and I’ll ask it again now: given the current political state of the world is a big blockbuster set in the Crusades really a good idea? Good idea or not Spanish action adventure Thunder Captain is coming in 2009 and producers Maltes Prodcciones have got a promotional trailer up on their website. An adaptation of popular Spanish comic El Capitan Trueno the series follows a crusader and his friends who travel throughout the world toppling tyrants and setting up peaceful states in their place. They’re sparing no expense on this and it looks like it’ll deliver on the adventure front but I’m expecting a lot of people to be verrrrrrrry upset about this one ...
