Poster and Stills for Zombies vs Japanese Cowgirl action horror ONECHANBARA

Any horror film with zombies in it will most likely catch my eye but add a sword welding Japanese cowgirl in bikini into the equation and you just got my undivided attention.  Based on a popular video game action series, Onechanbara (お姉チャンバラ) involves girls in scantily clad costumes battling against a horde of zombies with samurai swords.  What more can a guy ask for?  This has mindless fun written all over it.  Head over to the Japanese gaming site Gamewatch to get a first look at these sexy zombie slayers. 

Its expected for theatrically release in Japan around April.

    I’ve been dying to play these games, but it doesn’t seem like anyone’s going to bring the 360 one out here, let alone all the PS2 incarnations.

    So it looks like the movie will have to suffice!  Something about a sexy Japanese cowgirl killing zombies that really gets me going.  Let’s hope they keep the gratuitous bloodshed of the games!

    And I thought Diary of the Dead was going to be the hands down, quintessential Zombie Film of 2008.

    Now if only Land of the Dead had more bikini clad, Japanese Cowgirls….
