Ever on the lookout for excellence in the creation of entirely needless cultural ephemera I stumbled across Palisades Toys. Actually I’ve seen scads of their stuff before but have to admit these new Ren and Stimpy variant figues excited me. Not only are they doing Microbusts and the like but these limited edition figures feature waaaaaay cool accesories. Tongue Out Stimpy comes complete with a newly sculpted protruding tongue, his Dr. Stupid hat, his silver Dr. Stupid glasses, a blue littlerbox, a bag of Gritty Kitty Litter, the yellow Ren & Stimpy Secret Club helmet, a figure base, and “CLASSIC” LOG. For a look at other cool Ren and Stimpy shtufff push the jolly candy like link

And just in time for Paramounts October 12 release of Ren and Stimpy Seasons One and Two on DVD!!!!

As you can see from the below pics the press releases don’t lie about the quality of these figures.

Paranoid Mr. Horse—Best known for his catch phrase, “No sir… I don’t like it,” Mr. Horse appeared on numerous episodes of the The Ren & Stimpy Show. This all-new paranoid faced Mr. Horse variant (with new head sculpt), comes complete with components for making both the “suit” version of Mr. Horse (from the episode “Dog Show”) and the Nipple Fetish version of Mr. Horse (from “Rubber Nipple Salesmen.”), a figure base, and LOG OF THE KLONDIKE.

Lathered Up Shaven Yak – The mysterious Yak who first appears in his enchanted canoe in the Ren & Stimpy short Yak Shaving Day, Shaven Yak is a fan-favorite who is sure to please in action figure form. This variant “Foamy” Shaven Yak, complete with a lathered up favce, comes with Shaving Scum (which fits on Stimpy’s finger), a glob of shaving cream, face lather, a shaver, a figure base, and SECRET AGENT LOG.

In addition to the new sculptural aspects of the figures, their respective Log “action figures” are available ONLY with these SKUs.  A variant Ren will be available through the Palisades Collectors Club sometime in the upcoming few months.”

These go for about $15 apiece and believe me you’ll want to get them quickly.
