On Set Photos for THE STORM RIDERS II

A month ago, our very own Todd has uploaded a gallery of concept art for the Pang Brother’s The Storm Riders II, a martial arts fantasy film based on a Hong Kong manhua (chinese comics) and now several photo stills has emerged online with some behind the scene shots of the two main lead, Ekin Cheng as Wind and Aaron Kwok as Cloud, during the early stages of filming. Very cool costumes.
The highly anticipated film is expected for release in 2009.

And… that’s very STORM RIDERy. Looking good there, Pangs. Hopefully we’ll learn the behind-the-scenes drama - Andrew Lau and the Pangs used to collaborate and now they’ve got competing would-be STORM RIDERS sequels? This is like when Golan and Globus split up the Cannon Group over business this-n-that and came out with competing “Lambada” movies on the same day.
