Madame Tutli-Putli
The official website for Wilson Yip’s martial arts biopic Ip Man with Donnie Yen in the title role has just been launched. Only the Chinese section is active at the present and lurking within is a teaser trailer and a gallery of stills. The teaser is essentially a behind the scenes video with historical background on the man who trained Bruce Lee in Wing Chun. It also contain footage of some Kung Fu demonstration in this style. I’ll keep you posted when new contents will be added.
The theatrical release date in Hong Kong is December 18th. You’ll find the teaser below after the break.

I’m expecting a load of CGI and a ruined film.

a load of CGI? with Donnie on board? no way...If Donnie has any say whatsoever then there will be minimal CGI. Dont see any noticeable CGI in the trailer either.

I agree with cpa - this is likely to be as CGI-free as possible and is obviously being heralded as a Very Big Deal. Love the cast too - Donnie, Sammo and Simon Yam! Cool Beans!
