Just so nobody starts thinking he’s getting lazy as he ages, Takashi Miike - easily one of the world’s most prolific directors over the past decade - has just signed on for another one. According to the folks at Tokyograph Miike has just signed on to direct a live action adaptation of Shinji Kimoto’s sci-fi novel Kamisama no Puzzle for Kadokawa Pictures. As sci-fi pictures go, this sounds like a pretty small scale one, revolving around a pair of twins conducting experiments into the origin of the universe. They’re aiming for a summer 2008 release.
