Matt Lucas to Play Alfred Hitchcock

Well here’s somethin’ - I just stumbled on this a second ago and I don’t see much furthur info on it beyond just: “This is happening”, so we’ll see how the whole “truth of the matter” pans out.
But it looks like Matt’s going to be (appropriately) playing the role of the Amazing-yet-Oscar-denied Alfred Hitchcock alongside Ewan McGregor in a film about Alfred’s early life in London. Digital Spy points out that the plans would dash any glimming hopes of a Season 4 of Little Britain - plans which, if I recall correctly, were questionable in the first place.

its true apparently, been in the news here in the UK (though fairly hidden away) over the past few days. david walliams is training to swim the channel between england and france too - a personal challenge, not for a project - it seems. odd. mind you, how many popular, large and bold people can you think of? hmmmm....
