Lars Goes To School! It’s The Trailer For ERIK NIETSZCHE: THE EARLY YEARS

For his latest cinematic effort Danish auteur Lars von Trier turns down the cynicism and the anger and turns up the nostalgia, recalling his film school days in an autobiographical effort recalling his film school days. Written by von Trier with Jacob Theusen taking the helm Erik Nietszche: The Early Years is a surprisingly light comedy that, while it still has a bit of a satiric edge, lacks the sort of bite that we’ve come to expect from von Trier. But don’t take my word for it, the trailer has arrived so you can check for yourself.
