The Rebel Finds A US Home …

Good news - hopefully - here for martial arts fans itching to see The Rebel with Johnny Nguyen. A deal memo was signed to give the film a North American home a few weeks back but these things are sensitive sometimes so I’ve been holding off saying anything until they choose to do so themselves and with rumblings that director Charlie Nguyen just made the news public at the Bangkok International Film Festival it can now safely be said. The Rebel will be hitting North American shores via The Weinstein Company and Dragon Dynasty. It will most likely be a straight to video title here. In other news there are rumblings of sequels in the works ... yum.
