Good god, I hope this one will prove to have been worth the haggling over scripts and concepts and the extensive delays.  Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull releases Memorial Day 2008 and they’ve just released a pair of posters.  Tasty.

where’s the classic hand drawn collage style poster?  consistency people...come on.  how odd would it be to have the first three posters hanging on your wall and then add a fourth one that is a completely different style.  i don’t care what millennium we’re living in and how much graphical design styles have changed...this is indiana jones we’re talking about.

don’t mess with the branding that has already been established.

Well, this is perfectly fine as a teaser poster. “Temple of Doom” and “Last Crusade” had similar teaser posters, and this one would fit right in.

The poster most often seen for “Raiders” and “Temple of Doom” were -very- dissimilar, and no Drew Struzan in sight! It was only at the third movie that some sort of consistency was tried.

Anyway, they won’t do a collage yet as that would give away too many spoilers… Wait for a decent trailer first.  wink
