We’re highlighting films we’ve covered in the past—check “Related Links” below to read the reviews—but we also want to share information about local films opening worldwide this weekend.

FILMS OPENING - FEATURED ON TWITCH
Appleseed Saga: Ex Machina. Aardvark liked the sequel as much as he liked the original anime, even if it wasn’t flawless. Opens in South Korea.
Baghead. Collin liked this funny mumble-horror ("an exciting break"), and I liked it even more. Opens in US (Austin).
Flash Point. Very solid Hong Kong action starring Donnie Yen, with an exhausting, extended closing fight. Opens in South Korea.
The Foot Fist Way. Quite appealing character-based comedy about an unlikable character. Opens in Canada.
God’s Puzzle. Takashi Miike’s latest, a science fiction thriller about “the weightier questions of theoretical physics.” Todd posted the trailer; Mark Schilling in The Japan Times liked it. Opens in Japan.
The Happening. You’ve probably heard of this one. Opens in 63 territories, including Canada, South Korea, US.
The Incredible Hulk. This one too. Opens in 38 territories, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Russia, South Korea, UK, US.
My Winnipeg. Guy Maddin’s “docu-fantasy” delighted and entertained Our Man Todd. Opens in US (New York).
Young People Fucking. Adolescent foolishness, apparently. Todd just reviewed. Opens in Canada.

After the jump: films of interest opening in limited release in Canada, Denmark, Japan, South Korea, UK, and the US.

We welcome your input. We’re especially interested in: (1) Good sources for local openings; (2) Corrections and additions to our list. Comment away!
