Can’t tell you much about it myself, though I know the trailer has been around for some time, and I love that image of the girl stood on the grass that has been a major feature of the Official Site in the past. Seems to be the first Cinema release for a Gonzo project, with ‘Brave Story’ being the next I know of (due Summer 2006). According to AnimeNfo, “Agito is living in the world 300 years after the present day. It is the world where the forest assaults human beings because of the failure of gene manipulation. However, there are people living strongly and happily. One day, Agito meets Tura, a girl from the past. She has a mission to revive civilization. In order to save her at the cost of his life, he contracts with the forest to obtain a forbidden power, and his hair turns grey.” Sounds nice, looks nice.

I watched a preview with 20 min. and i can say this is the most beautiful anime i`ve ever see. The backgrounds are amazing, you can`t say if it`s a picture or a drawing. The lightining effects are wicked, and so on…

I can`t tell nothing about the dialogues and script because it was in japanese, but it is worth watch just for the incredible art.

    Cheers.

i’ve watched the whole movie and i have to say that it’s simply amazing, the soundtrack is marvelous and the is gorgeous, though, after reading some comments of other users i found out that they have been comparing this movie to miyazaki’s work (another movie though i can’t recal the name) but still i think it’s fine anyway, worth watching if you’re an anime, nature kinda fan and don’t mind machine wars.
