We’ve been curious to see upcoming Polish horror film Pora Mroku since coming across the first teaser for the film a little while back and as the materials slowly trickle out our curiosity continues to rise. Poland is a film with a long standing film tradition, after all, and there is a lot of talent there but the nation has seldom - if ever - dipped into the horror pool this way before.
Well, to follow up that intriguing first teaser there is now also a much longer trailer. This appears to have been cut for television - the aspect ratio is a dead giveaway - and includes a lot of previously unseen footage and seems to tip that the villains of the piece are Germans, likely continuing some sort of Nazi experimentation, a choice that makes perfect sense in light of Poland’s history.
A dark and scary movie with dramatic effects. Four friends come to old and abandoned factory in Nether Silesia where a year ago a friend died. So they try find out how and why he died but in the end they found an horrific truth about experiments conducted in the factory. A group of research workers kidnap them and use them as human guinea-pigs in an effort to attain immortality for an mysterious employer.
You’ll find the new trailer along with the earlier teaser and behind the scenes reel below the break in the Twitch Player.
