Fresh Gore From Argento’s La Terza Madre (The Third Mother)

It’s been a while since Dario Argento did anything noteworthy enough to really live up to his legendary status but that may be about to change with The Third Mother.  I’ve no idea if the film itself is any good but Italian website Splatter Container have just run a series of new stills from the film and they’re noteworthy all right, if only for their remarkable ability to turn my stomach.  This is going to be one nasty, nasty film.

Check the images here.  But not if you’re at work.  Or have just eaten.

    Actually, these pictures were scanned from an Italian movie magazine and have been floating around various websites and forums for a day or two.

    I have seen some of the film. No worries, this seems to be the real fucking deal.

    caterpillar - yes, you’re right. there have been one or two websites with these scans. ive seen people scan it themselves and post it in a forum also. alas, it’s hard to tell when people put their sites name across some pictures, if they’re laying claim to them or passing them along and trying to make sure people know who might have been first digging them up. it’s a bit of a difficult area.
