Franklin Guerrero Jr.’s CARVER

The official website for Franklin Guerrero Jr.‘s Carver is online, and on that site is a stills gallery for the movie.
The screenplay for Carver was written by Guerrero Jr.. The movie apparently stars Kristyn Green as Rachel, Ursula Taherian as Kate, Neil Kubath as Bryan, Matt Carmody as Pete, and Jonathan Rockett as Zack.
Here’s a synopsis for Carver from the production: “A group of kids on a camping trip are doing an odd job for a man named Billy Hall Carver, a local tavern owner. The errand takes them to his old storage shack. Inside they find a closet full of 8mm horror films. Curiosity gets the better of the kids, so they sneak a peek with an old projector. The movies turn out to be extremely graphic films depicting a man in a creepy mask doing unspeakable acts of murder. ¶ That evening, the friends find themselves living out similar stories to the ones they watched back in that old shack...”
Guerrero Jr.’s previous directing credits include The 8th Plague - which Anthem Pictures released on DVD in the U.S. on October 10th of last year - and Lackluster Syndrome.
