Former Ghibli Head Talks PONYO

Mmmm ... the folks at Studio Ghibli are being very careful about how much they say about Hayao Miyazaki’s upcoming Ponyo On A Cliff but former company president Suzuki Toshio recently gave a very detailed interview to the Japanese press about the film and the good folk at Ghibli World have just published a translated ‘best of’ of that interview. Loads of good stuff in there, topics ranging from the origins of the project to the process of making the film and Miyazaki’s working methods. It’s a fascinating read and very much worth your time ...
