First Trailer for Thomas Vinterberg’s A MAN COMES HOME (En Mand Kommer Hjem)

He’ll likely always be best known on these shores thanks to his association with Lars Von Trier and the Dogme 95 movement he co-founded, but Thomas Vinterberg has greater range than most here realize. His latest, A Man Comes Home, is a comedy of errors revolving around a famous opera singer returning to his small town roots for the first time in years and the trailer looks to be great fun - beautifully choreographed and loaded with energy. Here’s the official synopsis from the Danish Film Institute:
A small provincial town is buzzing with excitement: the town’s most illustrious son, a world-famous opera singer, is coming home. Meanwhile, Sebastian, a kitchen boy who is as good as married, falls head over heels in love with the new maid, Maria. Their love affair, along with rumours that the opera singer and the kitchen boy are related, turns the town upside down, threatening to ruin everyone’s high expectations and the opera singer’s triumphant return.
