Everybody Needs A Little QUALITY TIME

When I first wrote about Chris Lamont’s upcoming horror-scifi hybrid Quality Time back at the beginning of March I commented on how the stills and synopsis made the film sound like the bizarre bastard love child of Franz Kafka and Philip K. Dick with maybe a bit of Linklater throw in.  Well, today Lamont gave us the first look at the brand new trailer for the film and yup, that’s about right.  And while it may be an unusual combination it looks like one mighty potent one.

In this avante-garde sci-fi drama, the world lives in a dysfunctional future, the global icecaps are melting, the military government controls all aspects of life and it’s still tough to talk to your parents.

Welcome to the surreal world of Stewart Savage, a young man with a tenuous grasp on reality. He lives with his parents, holds down a meaningless job and is only happy jumping between reality and the fantasy world inside his head.

He has trouble dating, so he strangles his girlfriends.  He despises his parents and leaves the bodies in the living room for them to clean up.  On the night of his dad’s birthday, he snaps and takes both families hostage at gunpoint and forces everyone to deal with their own demons, including his own.

You’ll find the trailer below the break!

    Parker Lewis looses...his mind.
That looks weird as hell and quite disturbing.
