English Subtitled Trailer For Turkish Horror MUSALLAT

When the new trailer for Turkish horror Musallat arrived just a few days ago effects man Cem Gul assured us an English subtitled version would be following shortly and, true to his word, it is now available on the Musallat website. For those new to this one, here’s the synopsis:
Suat (Burak Özcivit) and Nurcan (Bigkem Karavus) are two young people born and grown up in the same village and they passionately love each other. They decide to get married. But, when they take this decision, they find themselves “haunted” by a great trouble. A creature from other world causes unfathomable events around them and affects the entire life of this couple. Now, neither their life nor love is as before. The dark incidents affecting them and their environment develop in an inexplicable manner.

Maybe this is some sort of big leap forward for Turkish movies but compared to what I’m accustomed to this looks like the worst kind of direct-to-DVD trash. Pass.
