Ek Ajnabee: Bollywood Action With The Ong Bak Stunt Crew!

Okay, it’s not the entire Ong Bak stunt crew but it’s very cool news nonetheless ...
Bollywood director Amitabh Bachchan has shot his latest film, Ek Ajnabee, in Thailand and hired part of the Ong Bak stunt crew to handle the action sequences. The film is about a burnt out bodyguard protecting a little girl. Things go wrong, things blow up. And helping things blow up is Kawee Sirikhanaerat, one of Panna Rittikrai’s proteges and the man responsible for the taxi chase in Ong Bak. Nice.

Its a boring ass mishmash of collateral and man on fire. Never one to come up with original ideas, they even hired the ong bak crew. Not that they shouldn’t get paid, but don’t expect any mindblowing shit here.

Well, Amitabh is the star, not the director. The director is actually Apoorva Lakhia about whom I don’t know a lot.
A lot of Bollywood movies sound like other movies (BLACK = MIRACLE WORKER; BUNTY AUR BABLI = BONNIE AND CLYDE) but that doesn’t stop them from being enjoyable.
