“Dubya” On The Ranch

So it’s the last day of the film festival and I’m sitting here behind the desk of my regular day sulking away because my movie marathon has come to an end (I have to go from 19 movies in 9 days to the regular 2-3 per week - I’m such a bitch). Anyways, so Will Ferrell and ACT (Americans Coming Together) made this 4 minute tv spot with Ferrell playing Bush on his Texas Ranch. I peed my pants (I seem to be doing that a lot lately) watching this and yes, I know it’s been out for a while but I’m posting it now because you ALL must watch it. Will Ferrell is a genuis (GOULET!). Check it out here. Just be sure to have clean pants around - I made the mistake once already (nothing like spending 12 hours smelling like the alley at Spadina and Kensington).

that is classic. anyways, i met you in line for the palindromes rush, and i saw you leaving primer last night, so what did you think? where is your review? i thought it was great, but the narrative needed some breathing room, too mcuh info too fast, easily could of had another half hour to let the story flow. but if you check out their website, you start to really appreciate all the details to the story. i got lost pretty much when “granger” was following them. my physics phd friend understood it up until the last two scenes. let me know what you think, later

hey Mike, I was wondering if people where actually reading this thing. I actually really enjoyed primer - it was quite good at engaging you in the story quickly but I understand your concerns (especially about granger - that was never really explained except my thought might be that on of their “doubles” might have had interaction with him and left the others unaware - it’s a brain teaser). I’m going to put up my review sometime today. Talk to you later.
