Ghost in the Shell: Innocence
Yes, this is the trailer that they’ve started to broadcast on TV in the last few days, a brief series of flashing clips from Series Three. This time around also sees what seems to be an episode that’s animated, so perhaps they’re getting into the groove a little more and exploring what they can do with it all. So far has been a mixed bag (particularly Series Two, not as good as One in my opinion) and fairly familiar.
Now though, the competitions getting into place, and even ITV has had a relatively good response to their direct answer with ’Primeval‘ (Series One around on DVD already in the UK; see the DVD Release Calendar around here). Rips in time land us in the middle of a load of strange creatures, dinosaurs i think… not watched it at any length to be honest, but it’s a damn site better than the terrible BBC reimagining of Robin Hood, from the snippets I’ve seen, and that’s the other drama show to air so far that attempts to capture a similar sense of the past hits of British TV as has been popular in recent times.
Anyway, back to Doctor Who, and as part of the BBC deal with YouTube - not something I would want to directly tie a company too necessarily, it seems to be a little unstable with regards the legal action it’s attracting; I would love to see the BBC simply open up their archives directly - you can watch some video diary stuff online already.
You know, the one thing that’s missing is the actual broadcast date...

I have never seen this series or the old ones just a few of the films with Peter Cushing and the one with Eric Roberts. But this looks sooo damn cheesy and most of all cheap.

You’re both wrong. It’s damn good and even the second series only had two or three duff episodes. It just so happens they were mostly near the start which may well have put some off....

The animated stuff is being done for one of the behind the scenes shows called Totally Dr Who. It’s a long story told over the whole season for that show.

Episode 1 airs on Saturday 31st March on BBC1

From what i knoew the relationship between Dr and Martha will be less Boyfiend & girlfriend and more sparring rivals and Marthas family go bad, RTD hinted a few suprises are in store. I’m glad! the chav element of the tyler family was fairly exceptable but reached a pinacle of pain when C tate highjacked Xmas and broke it.
I expect ep 1 to be ok ish like New Earth
then who knows
Last year the Rose and doc thing got too smug but that was a clever way of making everything comfortable before the big tear fest.

i think that martha and the doctor dont have as good relationship as the doctoer and rose, i think marther may have a small crush on the doctor though. But still the same i guess shes still as good. I really liked the first series where the doctor and marther land on the moon with the hospitall
