Details On Christopher Doyle’s WARSAW DARK

Just a couple days ago we reported that Christopher Doyle - one fo the world’s truly great cinematographers - was working on his second effort as a director but at the time we had little information beyond the title: Warsaw Dark. Our thanks to Rafal who brings a few more tasty morsels:

I have some information to you about this new Doyle’s film “Warsaw Dark”. It’s a polish production with famous polish actors: Jan Frycz, Anna Przybylska and Adam Ferency. This is a political thriller based on authentic murder of the polish sport’s minister Jacek Debski. The movie are already shooting in Warsaw. The finish of shooting is planned for 15th december. Movie is produced by Ozumi Films - the company which respond for polish part of shoot to “The Chronicles of Narnia”. “Warsaw Dark” is an international english title. On the polish market film as known as “Izolator”. Rest of crew: screenplay: Maciej Pisarek, assistant director: Jerome Dassieur, production design: Peter Kunc, set decoration: Robert Czesak, costume: Ada Wesołowska, make up: Liliana Gałązka, editing: Marcin KOT Bastkowski, sound: Paweł Łuczyc-Wyhowski. International premiere will be probably in Cannes 2008.
