   I’m Turkish. This film a very good.

   New Horror From Turkey

   I first saw the poster on Sunday at a movieplex in Istanbul, I became quite curious about this upcoming Turkish horror movie. After surfing on internet to find out some more detailed information about the film, then it suddenly turned out to be a promising horror flick which could easily tickle my interest.

   As a person who is interested in Japanese movies (Kurosawa films), this film’s trailer reminds me of the famous Japanese flicks like RINGU.

   “Dabbe” seems to be a good Japanese style horror movie with Islamic (Turkish) motifs in it.

   I have seen the trailer and will see the whole film as i have a chance to see it.

   I don’t belive this movie would be successful despite its misterious concept. Movie tricks can not fulfill auidience’ anticipations.

   Requires a lot of job to improve film!!

   Hi, Horror movie fans, hmm! definetly interesting and damn it uncanningly freaky....hey if its not that successful when its released, atleast its better then Okul(School) and Buyu(The Spell), cos they sucked!....I don’t know why i feel like this, but I have a feeling that the movie isn’t gonna show any different scenes than the ones we see in the trailer.

   well I’ve both seen the teaser and the trailer. Dabbe offers nothing new to the genre. Yhe guy called Ali said that this trailer reminded him of ringu well that’s probably because ringu is the only japanese thriller he saw. Dabbe’s special effects look cheesy actually, hope they’ll look better in movie theaters. Anyways we’ll see what’s gonna happen but no high hopes…

    I’m Asya from Turkey/Marmaris..My friends from Istanbul watched this film and they said me (We’ve never seen a film like this!It was amazing.”.I think so.Dabbe has started today (February 10,Friday) and got a very nice success.It’s cinema point is 8,2 with many people’s selection.I haven’t seen it yet but I know,I won’t be penitent.Hasan Karacadağ got “The Best Artist” award and I believe,Dabbe isn’t an ordinary movie.I’ve seen lots of Turkish horror movie like “Okul(School),Büyü(Spell)” but they were the worst movies I’ve ever seen.But Dabbe is different.Firstly,it’s a real presence.Koran(Muslim’s (like me) holy book),talks about Dabbe’tul Arz like Yecuc-Mecuc and Deccal.Secondly,Hasan Karacadağ says:

    “Dabbe is internet.” Perhaps it might be true.

    Why not?

    These are not enough,there’re so many things to say for Dabbe..

    I think this movie could become a legend as The Ring.Because it has got that spirit,it makes you nervous and scares succesfully.If everybody will give this movie a chance which it deserves,i am quite sure they will be satisfied.It is called horror movie and it is pretty scary.I am sure this movie is going to be a worldwide movie not a local Turkish trial.At least this is my idea after seeing this movie few hours ago.

    I saw this movie in istanbul and it also reminded me of japanese thriller films like Ringu and Wrong Call (I dont know the exact title of that film, since i watched that in turkish also) that might be because the art manager for this movie is japanese.

    i was pretty impressed with this, expecially taking into consideration how ridiculously cheesy most turkish horror films are.

    I suggest that everbody have to watch this movie without any prediction please. I think that Dabbe is better than so many well known horror movies which I have seen in last ten years. It is not perfect,there is so many unsuccessfull part in this movie (cast performance for example) but it has a good story. It can make you scared if you wacth it carefully. I wonder that dabbe 2 would be a great Horror movie. Ersen

    I think the acting is a bit below the line.The effects are ok..You simply Don’t have the feeling like “Oh that’s a special effect"What I mean is the effects don’t distort your concentration.Some scenes The colors , the lights and the positioning makes you feel like it’s a reality shot by an amateur camera..The puzzle clishe 388@0 is not so strong but o.k..And lastly its a bit long and the final maybe considered a little bit weak..(logical mistake may be İf every one on this planet is under that threat Why these 5 or 6 characters have taken place in that final Photo..That makes me think the dabbe is those 5 or 6 peoples dream that turns into reality. The crowd of people walking in the tunnel doesn’t make a satisfactory explanation to that logical mistake.İt’just my humble thought..

    But despite to all you scare to death anyway while watcthing this g...damn movie.From now on check out the shadows more carefully and beware..Dabbe may gonna steal your life too..

    Think of this movie like the ring..Remember İt was reanimated by Americans as well..Good Demo for low budget

    how come a person think that a horror film can be laughable and also horrific? first of all, d@bbe’s a lot of spectacular horrible things during 2 hours.. you can see ‘’strange and horrible creatures’’ in every f.ckin minutes and in this two hours those many horrible things can make a human very non-reacting..the most exciting moments of the film was of course old dirty woman, who was siting on the bus in front of behinds:):) and can seen 2 times during movie:):) it was very horribble yeaah..and was also very funny and anyway f.ck gwen stefaniii.

    Well i live in Ankara at the mıonent i lived in the USA for 19 years .... i have seen many movies that could scare the crap out of a person ...... when it comes to Dabbe .... Dabbe can make you jump out of your seat several times .... but the movie needs improvement ofcourse for example, the storyline could have been better and the actors could have played their role a little better for me the actors werent too good for the role. and i agree with Esra on the fact that some scenes are actually pretty funny when they were ment to be scary especially in the first half of the movie .... but in the second half ..... well ... things change it starts to freak a person out pretty well .... considering the fact that in the Kuran Dabbe is know to be one of the many signs as the begining of apocalapse

    I watched Dabbe yesterday.I can’t say anything because Dabbe is really excellent.I’m looking forward to Dabbe 2 and Dabbe 3.For Muslims,Dabbe’tul Arz will come before the end of the world.Also,Koran says this on Sura of Neml,82. verse.Actors and actresses are not much professional but it isn’t that:Don’t watch Dabbe.

    On second and third film,Hasan Karacadağ is saying:

    Also Hasan Karacadağ isn’t an odrinary director.He has won a lot of award.He’s also the old champion of physics olympics and an expert of genetic.

    Still Muslims don’t know so much thing about Dabbe’tul Arz.Usually everybody knows,it will come before the end of the world,appear from the earth,damage the everybody a the same time,talk with them and behave harshly towards that nobody sees ago..

    Dabbe is internet.Why:

    Dabbe means “the thing which spreads out quickly like the spider web"(WWW-world wide web-?????).It will appear from the earth.Computer and internet technology is about silicon.Silicon is gets from the earth!Dabbe’tul Arz will damage everybody at the same time,millions of people can visit the same web site at the same time and they can talk with each other.

    well i would never be that excited before i went to that horror film...The film exactly did what i wanted,wanted a religion to look for it really really deeper.This film also looked at the codes of a religion.When a catching glimpse to the producers,one of them is a genetic proffessor and the other one is a phsician...so before they tried to produce a plot like that,they looked at the scientific way of a religion and commented like a scientist.So before commenting we must look at this part let me say.HE IS COMING!!!

    Pros:

    A man who says on TV that “I must be disclosing a secret who will kill me and (explains Dabbe’s intentions) says:I am married to a djinni woman.They will kill us both!”

    soon he is found dead along with a dead snake.In Qur’an it states that Djinni are “seen in snake-form to other men who don’t know of them.”

    Cons:

    How can anyone love a movie with default dial-up connection,laggy mouse pointers,Djinni with paper-maché masks,cliché fear scenes,stupid Turkish words like “Internet nowadays is dangerous,it is best not to enter it”,a murderous Earth Walker (in Islamic Motif “Earth Walker” is a messenger of Doom who says to anyone in their mother-languages that Apocalypse is coming,not a destroyer of innocent people.OW)

    Scare-scenes are still stupid.

    101. İbn Ömer’e göre bu hadise, dünyada iyiliği emreden ve kötülüklerden sakındıran hiçbir fert kalmadığı zaman vuku bulacaktır. İbn Merduye’nin Ebu Said el-Hudrî’den rivayet ettiği bir Hadis-i Şerif’e göre, aynı şeyi bizzat Hz. Peygamber’in kendisinden Ebu Said’de duydu.

    Bu da insan başkalarını iyilik yapmaya teşvik ve kötülük yapmaktan men (emr-i bi’l-maruf ve nehy-i ani’l-münker) vazifesini terketiği zaman Allah’ın, kıyametin hemen öncesinde son ihtar vazifesini görmek üzere bir ‘Dabbe’ meydana çıkaracağını gösterir. Maamafih onun bir hayvan mı, yoksa bütün yeryüzünü istila edecek bir hayvan türü mü olduğu hususu açık değildir. “Dabbet’en mine’l-ard” kelimeleri her iki mânâya gelebilir. Her iki durumda anlam şöyle olacaktır: “İnsanlar, kıyametin anlatıldığı ayetlerimize inanmadılar. Sözkonusu kıyamet şimdi gelmek üzeredir; Allah’ın verdiği haberin doğru olduğunu şimdi herkes anlasın.” “İnsanlar bizim ayetlerimize inanmadı” cümlesi, ya o hayvanın kendi konuşmasının bir parçasıdır, ya da Allah’ın, onun konuşmasından hikaye ettiği bir cümledir. Şayet, bunlar onun sözleriyse ‘bizim’ sözcüğü, bir hükümet sözcüsünün yaptığı konuşmayı, kendi namına değil, hükümet adına konuştuğunu ifade eden tarzda anlaşılacak demektir. İkinci şıkta, “Dabbe"nin sözlerini Allah hikaye etmekte olduğu için, “Bizim Vahiylerimiz” ibaresini Allah (c.c) hakîki mânâsında kullanmış demektir. Bu hayvanın ortaya çıkış ve durumuna gelince, Hz. Peygamber (s.a) bu konuda şöyle buyurmuştur: “Güneş batıdan doğacak ve ‘Dabbe’ gün aydınlığında ansızın zuhur edecek. Bu alâmetlerden hangisi önce belirirse, ötekisi onu çok kısa bir zaman sonra takip edecektir.” (Müslim). Müslim, İbn-i Mace, Tirmizî, Müsned-i Ahmed gibi hadis kitaplarında, daha başka rivayetlerde Hz. Peygamber (s.a.), “Deccal"in zuhuru, “Dabbe"nin ortaya çıkışı, heryeri kaplayan bir duman ve güneşin batıdan doğuşu şeklinde alametlerin birbirini takip edeceğini haber vermiştir.

    ‘Dabbe’nin yapısı, genel görünüşü, ortaya çıkacağı yer ve diğer ayrıntılara gelince, bu konuda, sadece teşevvüşe sevkeden ve Kur’an’da bu meselenin anlatılmış olduğu konu ile de ilgisi olmayan ve birbiriyle de tearuz eden bazı hadisler rivayet edilmiştir.

    ‘Dabbe’nin insanlarla konuşma hususuna gelince, bu, istediği herhangi bir şeye konuşma gücünü veren Allah’ın kudreti hakkında bir delildir. O, bu gücü, kıyametten önce tek bir hayvana verecek, fakat kıyametten sonra bu yeteneği daha başka varlıklara da ihsan edecektir. Mesela, insanın her uzvu -gözü, kulağı, hatta derisi bile- yüksek sesle konuşacak ve Fussilet Suresinin 20. ve 21. ayetlerinde açıkça ifade edildiği gibi, Cenab-ı Hakk’ın mahkemesinde şahitlik edeceklerdir: “Oraya varınca kulakları, gözleri, derileri işledikleri şeylere karşı aleyhte şahitlik edeceklerdir. Derilerine; niye aleyhimizde şahitlik ettiniz? diyecekler, onlar da; “Herşeyi konuşturan Allah (c.c) bizi de konuşturdu. ilk önce, sizi O yarattı. Sonra da yine O’na döndürüleceksiniz.” (diye cevap verecekler.)”

    durun bende küfür edecem orospu çocuğuna ulan senin ananı maymunlarmı sikti yoksa gavat. bir insan akılsız olurda bu orospu çocuğu kadar olamaz. gelmiş birde ring e efsane diyor. hiç bir şeye benzemiyor lan o film pezevenk. neyse sinirim yatıştı biraz gelelim yorumlara.  when I watched the movie in the theatre, I really fell into horror.     This film is best turkish horror film.You can feel very strong atmphosphere of islamic horror stories.İf you believe the religion you will like this film more than ateists.But this film is not islamic or religion etc movie.This film is horror about another worlds.whispers,djinns,D@bbe’tul arz,apocalypse of human souls,internet.In turkey we never watch a film like Dabbe.I liked it very much.Because when I watched this film I feel dead near my body.Please watch D@bbe when you alone.and please dont turn off LIGHT!Its dangerous!!(’’’!’’’)

    This film dissapointed me (after the really decent trailer). I think if K.Kurosawa sees this and sues, he will surely win the case.

    The actors are mediocre, the low budget shows and it is not a film to be enjoyed in any level.

    Heyy man, why are you jealous the success of Dabbe??.This film is best turkish horror film ever and the story of dabbe is original.If you look like The holy book Koran you can read about dabbe.D@bbe has so diffrent story with kairo.If you watch Pulse you will see the truth.some scenes of Pulse is the mix of kairo and Dabbe.So may be the director of dabbe,if sues them,he will surely win the case.
