Rogue Pictures Presents THE UNBORN Now Playing
DARK FLOORS, TRACK MAN, VIKAREN And More Hitting US DVD Via Ghost House ...

Someone at Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures has been reading Twitch, or so it seems to me. Why’s that? The Sam Raimi run horror label has just announced their new DVD imprint, Ghost House Underground, which aims to release international genre pictures on DVD in North America and the first block of eight titles is dominated by films covered extensively in these pages and not much anywhere else, among them Lordi-starring creature feature Dark Floors, Ole Bornedal’s Danish science fiction picture Vikaren or The Substitute, Danish horror picture Room 205, Igor Shavlak and Pavel Ruminov’s Track Man, and Gabriele Albanesi’s Last House in the Woods.
Ghost House Underground aims to release as many as twenty pictures per year with the first arriving in October.

Hmm. Dark Floors was universally panned by every critic over here.

Yeah, it got roasted in Finland, too. I don’t think it’s a great film but I was totally entertained.

Dark Floors was technically very much ok, but the movie itself was just one boring cliché after another ... And they should at least have kept it in Finnish in stead of English language ... So zero points for Finland.
Denmark, on the other hand, gets top scores with Vikaren (The Substitute), with a welcome (and long overdue) return from Ole Bornedal, here in excellent form. Original script, absolutely wonderfull cast (with also nice cameo’s from the ‘Nattevagten’ cast), great cinematography… I love this movie
The Jury at the BIFFF loved it too, and have it a special mention “for the originality of the sceenplay and the extraordinaire children performance”

A completely bullshit movie!! Who is the damn director..does he know to make a movie…cmon people there is no head and tail to the movie..who did understand wat was going on in the movie…patches different horror movies glued into one to make a hell lot of shit..The girl theme with the drawings, stolen from the movie “SILENT HILL” and many more of its sequences completely taken from other movies…Music is pathetic except for one or two instances were it really took some attention !! Cmon anybody can tell me wat the movie was all about !! also stolen are the psychic effect of GRUDGE…The repeated happenings from FINAL DESTINATION…Oh my this the worst movie i have seen over the years (10 years)....yeah must say there are some sequences fairly shot !! credits to cameraman and the director but overall the movie is pathetic.. complete waste of money for audiences and for the people who created it!!
NO PROBLEM WITH ACTORS >>>THERE WASNT MUCH THEY CUD DO ABOUT IT !!
