Can Russia SAVE THE EMPEROR?

My thanks to regular Twitch reader Vladimir for pointing the way to impressive new Russian historical action picture Save The Emperor. Set during the events of the October Revolution the producers here obviously had a healthy budget to work with and they’ve put it all on screen. Production design is just stellar, the cast and attention to detail are impressive and, most importantly, once the action kicks in it goes non stop. Very nice.

Yeah, don’t want to disappoint you guys, but the sad culmination of this story is well known….God save the Tsar!

Actually, this movie is a kind of historical fiction. Those were whites, not reds who arrested Emperor and sent him to Siberia. So they were not interested in Emperor at all. The level of support of Emperor was close to 0 from both sides and among people.
