Check it Out, Yo!
You know, mummy always told me heavy metal was the devil’s music and it turns out she was right. Finnish “monster rock” act Lordi have made huge waves internationally since winning the Eurovision Song Contest with Hard Rock Hallelujah, success tehy’ve now parlayed into their first onscreen appearance, the band driving the production of new Finnish produced, English language horror picture Dark Floors, which features the band members themselves, in their customary stage makeup, as demonic creatures from another dimension. It all sounds incredibly goofy but they’re playing it straight and the results look shockingly good. We’ve hosted stills, the Hard Rock music video and the first brief teaser for the film in the past and now porduction outfit Solar Films have provided us with a first look at the full length trailer. You’ll find it after the break.

I know I’m saying this a lot lately, but gawdamn that looks great! Production value goes a long way, and this one looks to have it to spare.
So wait a sec, the movie’s in English. I assumed it was in Finnish. Interesting… So is that release date for Finland or North America? Or both?

Release date’s Finnish. I don’t believe it’s sold outside Finland yet as it hasn’t shown in any festivals or markets yet.

I hate to say it, but this would be perfect for Dimension’s Extreme label.

That looks almost more like Silent hill than “Silent Hill” did.
