Fans of “CARNIVALE” will certainly agree that the second season was the best yet! As fans of “CARNIVALE” ourselves, we are still holding out hope that “CARNIVALE” will return.
Major press will be covering the convention, so this is a chance to show HBO just what kind of a fan base “CARNIVALE” has!
The goal is to show HBO that “CARNIVALE” must be brought back. The epic saga of “CARNIVALE” MUST be allowed to continue!
The three day long convention will also feature celebrity guests including Bruce Campbell and an “EVIL DEAD” cast reunion, a HOUSE OF 1,000 CORPSES” cast reunion featuring Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, and additional “HOUSE” guests, a cast reunion for the original John Carpenter’s THE FOG, and many other guests.

HBO has been responsible for some of the best televisoin work of the last five years, and to me, Carnivale was its finest acheivement. Best show since Twin Peaks. BRING BACK CARNIVALE!

I think it is an absolute travesty that this rare gem of a show has been canceled. It has touched me like nothing on television or any piece of literature has in my life. Please bring it back. I’d even be willing to pay a $50 to $100 fee to HBO to ensure the show would return. Please HBO. You are breaking alot of hearts, and you WILL LOSE MORE SUBSCRIPTIONS THAN YOU THINK IF YOU DON’T BRING BACK CARNIVALE. Thanks.

Carnivale was a fantastic show. Very few television programs these days are both innovative and entertaining, and this was one of the rare exceptions. Brilliant setting, dialogue, characterisation, camera work, story, everything. If the powers that be have any devotion to art whatsoever, we should see another series very soon.

It makes me sick to think that I will not be seeing any more Carnivale episodes. I will hesitate to watch another HBO series- even though most likely it will be well done, I don’t want to have my heart broken again. This is the second time an intelligent audience has been disappointed by HBO, the first being even more painful - the loss of Mr Show. I think the least HBO could do would be to tie up the loose ends with a movie.

Will continue to boycott HBO until Carnivale returns for a third season.

people are so outta touch imo reality tv has dumbed down most of the veiwership to the extent that when a really amazing thought provoking show of the most ingenius quality is brought to you, you shut it out i wanna puke best show ever!!!!- made and you guys at hbo care more about your money than truly bringing somthing amazing to life i wonder if all the famous artists had to rely on hbo funding how much art would be there sombody pick up knauf and produce this some way shape form . sombodys gotta care more about the art then the money will follow

The comments I have read from HBO sicken me. They claim it costs too much to make each episode of Carnivale but here is what I do not understand WHY DO WE PAY SUCH HIGH CABLE RATES when we can not even get what we want. You create an incredible and thought provoking show like Carnivale - get us hooked and then cancel it. That’s crap with a capital C!!!!!!!!!!! How many insipid and sterile docu-dramas will you continue to do or badly executed mini-series like Empire Falls that I bet cost even more money and really are rarely worth investing any time into while Carnivale was inspired and really quite something to behold. When HBO starts citing cost I think we are all doomed because TV (especially cable) just seems to get more and more dummied down which truly is the saddest part of all. Why cancel something people love and then say oh we thought we could do something that the same audience could relate to for less money. That is so insulting because basically you are saying we are not worth the money that Carnivale cost. Please allow me to explain something you obviously will never understand the reason people tuned in to begin with was because Carnivale was quality TV and oftentimes to get real quality you do need to spend more. THE SOPRANOS HAS SUCKED FOR YEARS AND YOU CONTINUE TO PUT OUT THAT CRAP PLUS I BET THE SALARIES ON THAT SHOW ALONE DWARF WHATEVER YOU SPENT ON EACH EPISODE OF CARNIVALE. HBO YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HBO you were part of something fantastic and rare - Carnivale has been one of the few shows over the years that I’ve hung on. Obviously viewing here in Australia has been quite delayed, having only just viewed the final of the second season. I cannot believe that you would let it end there without the full story being told. Shame on you for cancelling a series that’s worth it on artistic and intellectual merit alone. Not to mention the loyal viewers all over the world. I doubt I’ll find any show quite like it ever again, which is a real shame. It was something worth watching.

Best US series since Twin Peaks. HBO say that it didn’t catch on over seas, well I can speak for all my British friends who loved the show, bring it back!
Joseph DiLoreto 05/19/2006 @ 11:40am
Carnivale is the only show I actually make time for and sit down to enjoy…..and I’m not lying. It’s hard for me to sit and enjoy watching television at night, but when Carnivale was on I never missed an episode. I even got my girlfriend hooked.
I’m psyched about Season 2 coming out on DVD, but what we really need is a Season 3 to tie up all loose ends!
I know the show hasn’t attracted as many viewers as some of the other HBO shows, but the viewers that Carnivale did attract were dedicated! We need a Season 3! Even if it isn’t a full season, just something to put closure to an amazing, different and unique show.
Ted Strauss 07/17/2006 @ 12:43pm
As usual,as good show is taken off the air. The said it cost too much money for each episode, yet advertisers pay for good shows like Carnivale so to me the cost was not a factor in it cancelation, just a poor decision and lost of a viewer like myself.
Aghanim 08/23/2006 @ 3:05pm
No comment. Once again a channel is taking off the air a show because it is nott attractive enough… Attractive ??! That’s the most attractive and addictive show I’ve ever seen. Please take some risks for once…
SAM 08/30/2006 @ 5:17am
I cant believe that HBO killed the show! its an amazing peice of art and and well scripted story. The writer origanally said his story was spread over 3 seasons. MAD HOB to even cosider not going ahead with season 3 at least. MAD!
José Luis 05/15/2007 @ 4:26am
Bring it back please. From Spain
