I’ll admit it ain’t much but it at least gives us a grasp of the scope of Feng Xiaogang’s war film The Assembly. A seven minute promo reel was screened at Cannes and some daring soul smuggled out a clip. Smuggled it out how I dare not ask. It’s best not too.
It’s short. It’s sweet. It gives the premise of the film and an idea of production values. Give it a whirl here (SINA)

Video works just fine here (Firefox). Perhaps upgrade your Flash Plugin?
