Ghost in the Shell
Are we excited for the upcoming made-for-DVD Batman: Gotham Knight? Hell-freaken yeah! With the top animation studios from Japan (Madhouse, Studio 4C and Production I.G) bringing its unique visual style and Bruce Timm, the head honcho responsible for Batman: The Animated Series as the producer, all I can say is this is one heck of a collaboration. To see the various interpretation of the dark knight in this six part anime anthology, check out the “sneak peek” posted on Dailymotion. It contains actual footage of the animation with shots of the storyboards, some character designs, and interviews with the writers. Very cool. A definite must see for Batman fans.

Looks like it will easily be on par with “The Animatrix”, which is definitely a good thing.

I’m not too familiar with the Gotham Knight story arc, but it looks like a really good choice so far.
