Anderson lays seige on Castlevania… and not the good Anderson

I feel kind of bad that I return from a lengthy absence of posting to bring further bad news on the video game adaptation front. Paul W S Anderson [Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil] has seemingly entered in competition with Uwe Boll [look in the dictionary under Devil] to see which director can ruin the most video game franchises [Anderson has a lot of catching up to do].
Reports from AICN say that Anderson will write and direct the adaptation of the famed Nintendo games series Castlevania for Crystal Sky Pictures.
Which is a coincidence because I felt a shudder of evil this morning before seeing this news and as a result I felt pressed to burn my old NES system and games.

You give me this horrible news on my BIRTHDAY?!?!? While I play castlevania on my Nintendo DS no less! This is horrible, first resident evil now castlevania, thank god these people don’t touch PC games…oh wait dungeon siege is a PC game. Someone keep these creatuers away from the fallout, planescape, and diablo licenses!
