Rogue Pictures Presents THE UNBORN Now Playing

Oh, this just makes me giggle to no end ... as if the drug addicted elephant film coming out of Norway wasn’t enough to spoil Scandanavia’s image as purveyors of serious art film, here comes Anders Morgenthaler’s Princess. How to describe this dandy piece of animation? Here’s the official synopsis:
“Due to his sister’s death, the 32- year old August returns and consequently abandons his profession as a missionary priest. His beloved sister Christina, who went from greatness to decay as the famous porn-star The Princess, is dead after years of drug abuse. She leaves behind her 5-year old daughter Mia, whom August feels obliged to take care of.
Weighed down by grief and guilt he decides to revenge the dead of Christina - and takes Mia on a mission to destroy all existing pornographic material featuring The Princess. The mission escalates into a brutal and violent rout, where August is desperately trying to protect the only precious thing in his life, Mia, why he is forced to make a fatal decision.”
The film is still in production but Morgenthaler has sent us large versions of the poster and a piece of background art and has promised a look at the teaser as soon as it’s ready.

So, is this a CGI film or traditional? It’s hard to tell, but that backdrop frame looks computer rendered to me. The poster however, looks a bit like a traditional piece… speaking of which, WOW. Nice poster. Totally digging on it.
Story is strange sounding, but I’d give it a whirl.

Wha-huh? Why’d it get posted 3 times? Sorry if I did that. I certainly didn’t mean to. Web-monkey (or Todd), please just erase the extras.
