American Film Market (AFM): Update on Kentarô Moriya’s SCHOOL DAZE (SUKÛRU DEIZU), w/ Mirai Moriya

As was reported in Twitch’s third article on Kentarô Moriya’s School Daze (Sukûru deizu), the official website for the movie is online, and there’s a trailer for the movie on that site. Phantom Film Co. Ltd. (K.K. Fantomu Firumu) is scheduled to release School Daze theatrically in Japan in December.
Distribution rights for School Daze are being offered for sale by Pony Canyon Inc. (K.K. Ponî Kyanion) at this year’s American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica, California. The movie is being screened at the Broadway Cineplex on Tuesday November 8th at 3:00 p.m..
The screenplay for School Daze was written by (Kentarô) Moriya. The movie’s principal cast is as follows: Mirai Moriyama, Yûta Kanai, Shûgo Oshinari, Tarô Yamamoto, Yui Ichikawa, Shingo Tsurumi, Maiko Itô, Katsuya Kobayashi, Asami Mizukawa, Tomorowo Taguchi, Suzuki Matsuo, and Seiichi Tanabe.
Here’s a synopsis for School Daze from the page for the movie on the American Film Market’s website: “Story of a child actor who becomes too absorbed in his role enjoying life in drama more than in reality and gradually starts to confuse the borderline between reality and fiction. This off-beat comedy puts a new twist on the youth drama genre.”
